God turned the worlds of almost 200 young people upside down at the “re:mix student missions conference” I attended a few years ago! High school and college students encountered powerful teaching on missions and social justice and amazing, interactive worship.

I am a worship leader and absolutely love to worship Jesus. I doubt anyone who sees me lead worship would say I feel inhibited, but when I step out from behind the guitar I don’t feel as free to worship. But on Saturday night of re:mix I started dancing. I never dance, but I did then. It was great! I felt so free to dance before God, and I had a blast. Then (about 10:30pm) God reminded me that this dancing was taking place at the same time as my senior prom. You see, I didn’t go to prom because I wanted to go to re:mix, and God showed me that I was spending my senior prom dancing with Him! It was an awesome revelation. I had so much more fun with God at re:mix than I ever would have at prom! Thank you Jesus!
