How we saw God Move in the Mideast...

A RTW team just returned from a two-week trip to the Mideast, and we saw God move in ways we could never have imagined!

Picture this:

After 3 minutes praying silently over a Muslim woman, we asked her what Allah was showing her, and she said she saw JESUS - and that he was telling her she is beautiful and he loves her unconditionally! We all got goosebumps as we witnessed Jesus healing this woman and ministering his love to her!
On the walk home one night, a team member greeted a Muslim man sitting in front of his house, only to be shocked that he spoke fluent English. He sat with this man, named Ron, and struck up a friendship that long-term workers are now pursuing. After 3 visits, Ron was already talking with us about the Kingdom of God, and his desire to know God more and follow him more closely.
During our short 12-day visit, THREE of the Muslims that the long-termers were working with came into the Kingdom!

FRUIT, FRUIT, FRUIT. Jesus said "If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit," (John 15:5). We saw this at work BIG TIME during our trip these past few weeks. Reaching out is not a project, its not hard work. It is the natural overflow of a life that is rooted deeply in relationship with Christ!

WHAT'S NEXT?

Two of the team members from this trip plan to return to the Mideast next year and join the long-term team that we served there. One will teach English and the other will study Arabic and work with Graphic Design and Marketing. They are both thrilled to return so that they can love Muslims and share with them the love of Jesus.

Another team member is pursuing a dream of establishing "Third Space" hangouts in the Mideast where University students can go to be refreshed and encounter Jesus.

God is moving as we seek to "rock the world" for the advance of his kingdom!
