Ambridge Youth Ignite
The vision of two Rock the World Josiah Project college students (Eric Geisbert and Shea Rankin), Ambridge Youth Ignite began as a summer sports camp to reach the youth in Ambridge, giving them an opportunity to interact with Christians and a safe environment to learn about sports, good sportsmanship, and healthy competition.
Although Ambridge Youth Ignite initially began as a place for youth to come during the summers instead of sitting around watching television or finding trouble on the streets, over the years it grew into so much more. Ambridge Youth Ignite expanded to be an all year program to meet the needs of the youth in Ambridge - athletically, artistically, socially, and spiritually - as well as helping youth become engaged members of their community. Our vision includes a sports camp, an arts camp, a discipleship program, a leadership initiative and a youth center.
Ambridge Youth Ignite has seen the need of a committed full time organization to work with children & youth in Ambridge and has accepted the challenge. If you are interested in helping make an impact on the lives of youth through sports and arts please feel free to volunteer your time or apply for a summer internship. We are always looking for people with a passion to provide these youth with competition, creativity, relationships, ambition, and the hope of God's love.
