Meet the Teachers

We have yet to schedule workshop teachers for the 2011 re:mix season.

However, you can get an idea of the high calibre of people who usually teach workshops by checking out the teachers from re:mix 2010!

Jason English

Jason English (Free People Free People)

Jason has been married to Kim for 10 years. They founded the non-profit organization "Free People Free People" based on the literal and abstract freedom that God brings. He is the Teaching Pastor at a church in Boone, NC. He loves to hike and do funky, abstract paintings.


Karen Sutton

Karen Sutton (What does God want me to do with my life?)

Karen is a graduate of Trinity School for Ministry in Ambridge, PA and has served in youth ministry for approximately ten years.  She has led youth retreats and spoken at various training events throughout the country.  

                                      

Steven Tighe

Steven Tighe (Holy Spirit Power)

Steven is a good friend of Jesus Christ, runs a non-profit that does youth ministry training (La Frontera Youth Ministry Education), and lives in El Paso, Texas with his wife, Tricia, and two teenage boys.

 

Bryan Bywater

Bryan Bywater (Jesus and the Poor)

Bryan is an Anglican Priest in Tanzania where he spends time each year preaching, teaching, and serving the poor. In the US he serves as the Rector of New Hope Anglican Church in CT. In 2007 he founded Restless Heart Ministries to support his people in Tanzania with mosquito nets, medications, wells and water harvesting systems. He loves his family, surfing and climbing rocks, and finding and caring for the broken until Jesus comes back for us all.

 

Jennifer SmithJennifer Smith (Falling in Love with the Ends of the Earth)

Jennifer loves movies, climbing, camping, water sports, historical fiction, painting murals, spending time with her boyfriend, and playing with her 2 cocker spaniels.  Having grown up in locations throughout the US and overseas (including SE Asia this past summer), she has gotten used to being on the go. She is passionate to mobilize this generation of young people towards completing the Great Commission! She has been on staff with CafĂ© 1040 since 2005.
