Eric and Shea Rankin Geisbert met while participating in the Josiah Project, a ministry of Rock the World Youth Mission Alliance. The Josiah Project is a fast-paced and intense ministry training program for young Christian leaders. Together they had a vision for reaching the youth of Ambridge and they pursued this vision creating Ambridge Sports Camp in 2004 for the final phase of Josiah Project.

Shea is originally from Aiken, SC, where she became a passionate basketball and volleyball player during her high school years. She was such a zealous player she once dislocated her shoulder during a game, put her arm back into socket, and went back into the game. While helping out with Ambridge Youth Ignite, Shea is also staying home with their sons Caleb and Isaac.

Eric grew up in Frederick, MD, where he grew to love sports. Eric graduated from Geneva College in 2008 with a degree in Community Ministry. He loves spending time with his family and coaching sports. It is his hope that one day he will be able to defeat his wife in a game of basketball.
