Living Differently
by Nate Rubright, Georgia Tech senior, Josiah Project Team 16
In
my life, I have great stories that I will remember forever, telling and
retelling until I'm grey in the face. I also have the times when I can say,
without a doubt, that God showed up in a big way. The Josiah Project was the
rarest of the rare. From it, I have stories of great adventure I will never
forget - and I saw God show up in a way that that provides resolute and
unquestionable proof of His existence.
The
Josiah Project is one of the greatest experiences I have ever had. I got
to travel all around the world, soaking up knowledge from the Bible and
learning what it takes to lead a ministry. My life was changed. It would
be impossible to go back to where I was. I have seen the world outside the
microcosm of the United States. I see the need, and I also see the realistic
ways I can be used by God.
I
am about to graduate with a BS in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and all
I can think about is getting out in the mission field, at home or abroad.
I thought life was about school and jobs, but after the Josiah Project I
am living differently.
