We believe that young people make particularly strategic missionaries. College and high school students are at a point in their lives when they are forming their values and deciding what they will do with their lives. They are open to crazy, even heroic ideas, like deciding to be missionaries in the inner-cities or in Two-Thirds World countries. And their insider knowledge of the youth culture (which really is global) gives them a great connecting point with others from around the world!

This program is designed by a Missionary Kid, a career student minister with lots of MK ministry experience, and a mission agency member care professional. We value your experience and may “get you” better than most situations you encounter. Please make sure you go through the additional sign-up process for Premix. It starts right after dinner on Thursday Sept. 26th. You’ll need to come to Ridgecrest with a parent b/c we don’t provide camp counselors, for this or for REMIX itself. You’ll need to register for room and board with your parents. But hey, since you’re a missionary kid the program is free!

We’ll go ahead and check you in for REMIX at Lambdin Auditorium between 5-7 pm. Then you have three choices: 1) Do “Premix” with the missionary kids. 2) Attend stuff at New Wineskins (your remix registration gets you in). 3) Help set up for REMIX  which starts the next day.

Absolutely NOT. While some aspects of the event are Anglican (like the way communion is served), we aren’t pushing for someone to become an Anglican. “Mere Christianity” is just fine. And yes, any Christian can take fully participate here!

Clothes… yes, please do. Also bring a Bible, some way to take notes, and a heart willing to learn and share. And comfortable shoes. You WILL walk a bit at Ridgecrest. A light jacket is recommended in September, but check the weather to be sure. It can get cold up in the mountains. If you choose to do Ultimate or hike, you know what to bring. Linens are provided; Beanie Babies, not so much. And as always for Rock the World events, don’t bring anything dangerous or illegal.
